Mary Cheranick was born about 1890 in the Hungarian lands and crossed the ocean to Minnesota, where she became the anchor of the Gondorchin household — mother to Peter, Anne, Mary and George. She rests beside her husband George beneath the oaks of St. Anthony Cemetery in Minneapolis.
